Last Friday I took a 45 minute flight to a city called Yuhuan in the Zhejiang Province of China to visit a supplier. Like many other smaller cities I have been to in China, YuHuan is covered in billboards of things that you do not normally have billboards for in Chicago such as industrial spray guns, nuts, bolts, faucets, pipes, raw aluminum bar stock and something called a "Mechanical Parts Manufacturer" (top middle billboard).
It is pretty convenient because if you arrive at the airport and realize that you have left your injection molding machine behind in Shanghai you can find several viable options competing for your business as you exit out into the main terminal.

I also learned that our supplier not only helps us make car parts but also manufactures millions of dog tags a year. In case there are any poodles out there, he does make heart-shaped tags in addition to the classic bone-shaped model shown above.

I arrived there at 9:30am and had to leave at 3pm so time was tight. We did however manage to squeeze in lunch where I tried octopus head soup. Not bad.
