Taipei 2

I tried to go and see the Lin An Tai House which is supposed to offer a glimpse of what life was like for a successful business family in Taipei around 1800. Unfortunately it looked like a construction site from 2010:

Then I went to the national Palace Museum which was pretty impressive but they would not allow any pictures of the inside to be taken so you will have to take my word for it.

Da Bears

View from the restaurant attached to the hot spring that I went to. You could not take pictures inside of the hot spring either but that is probably for the best (unless you are into picture of old naked Chinese guys).

After the hot spring I went and checked out a local flea market where you could buy everything from Bonsai to silk worms.

I saw the stadium lights from the flea market and decided to check it out. By the time I got there the game was basically over but it was still pretty interesting. The Tian Mu Lions got two on in the bottom of the ninth but could not get them across and fell to the visiting something something Bulls 6-3.

After the game I went to the Shida Night Market which was near my hostel. The pictures do not do it justice. The place was covered with people and had all kinds of street food. I went for meat on a stick.
